Hungry for knowledge, Anne studied Neuroscience and researched artificial organs at the University of Pittsburgh. During her college years, she launched and managed a Home Décor business while continuing her studies at Harvard University & residing in the heart of Boston.
Partnering with her younger sister Avisha, the pair went on to establish their brand, Sorelle, in 2004 for the Home Shopping Network (HSN). Over the next decade, the Sorelle Sisters were invited monthly to design and feature their crystal & porcelain decoratives on additional television networks around the globe such as Shop NBC, Ideal World England, TVSN Australia, and The Shopping Channel England.
Selling over a $100 million dollars worldwide as a home design expert does not even scratch the surface of the qualifications possessed by Anne to work with clients on the sale or purchase of real estate. Along with attaining her real estate licensure, Anne studied at the oldest & largest auction school in the world. She is a member of the National and the Virginia Auctioneers Associations in addition to completing studies as an Auction Technology Specialist, Benefit Auction Specialist, and Certified Estate Specialist.
Among keeping up with the demands of a successful business life, Anne is a dedicated mother of two incredibly talented & busy teenagers. Not only does she serve as a board member for the Loudoun Symphony & the Loudoun Youth Orchestra, she also serves a diverse menu in the kitchen, taking the time to cook delicious made from scratch meals like an executive chef. She loves entertaining and preparing wholesome nutritious eats for her family, friends, and children’s track, football and skiing teammates.
Licensed in Virginia, Washington D.C & Maryland; the talent, knowledge and expertise possessed by Anne allows her to effectively represent clients & negotiate their strongest position. Avisha Kassir’s greatest desire in life is to see others flourish—whether that’s by expertly serving her real estate clients or in finding homeless people a warm place to stay. As a successful entrepreneur and open-handed philanthropist, she knows what it takes to soar past expectations and succeed where others have failed. Her fierce devotion to excellence spills over into literally everything she does, even the “little things” like donning her chef hat to prepare gourmet meals for her husband.
Avisha got her start in business while attending Georgia Mason University. Eager to learn about more than numbers and spreadsheets, she studied abroad in 9 countries, including Italy, Spain, Greece, and Russia. There, Avisha discovered a vast and beautiful world where each culture has a story to tell—especially in the way they construct and design their homes. Looking for a creative way to build a business around those stories, Avisha teamed up with her sister Anne to launch the Sorelle brand on the Home Shopping Network (HSN).
10 years and $100 million in sales later, Anne and Avisha decided to migrate their family brand from pixels to place—officially opening up Sorelle Realty in 2014. This real estate firm offered the promise of concierge VIP service to clients in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington DC. Anne and Avisha delivered on that promise in style as Sorelle Realty quickly became successful enough to generate a second branch in Miami Beach. With the opening of the new office in 2017, Avisha and her husband moved into their dream home in the Venetian Islands so that she could focus on serving South Florida.
Avisha’s impressive background as a television personality and marketer has served her well as an agent. When it comes to marketing a home, no one does more than she does. For each and every listing, she crafts a compelling story. Combining gripping visual elements, persuasive copy, and stunning photography, she makes her clients’ homes utterly irresistible to potential buyers. Tapping into her global network of buyers, sellers, agents, and investors, she makes sure each listing gets all the exposure it needs to sell fast and for top dollar.
There’s more to Avisha than business. Helping others is what truly brings her fulfillment. In 2010, she and her husband started the Kassir Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to providing food, shelter, and clothing for the homeless, as well as education to help them improve their quality of life. Her work as an agent drives that foundation’s success.
